Whitney Information Network, Inc. Expects to Report a Loss

CAPE CORAL, Fla., May 2, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Whitney Information Network, Inc.(TM) (OTCBB:RUSS) announced today that it anticipates a first quarter loss of approximately $1.5 million and expects losses to continue through the 2nd quarter of the year. Cash balances have increased by $3.8 million in the same period to $15.8 million at March 31, 2003. The Company indicated that it, nevertheless, expects its full year's revenue and earnings to equal or exceed those of the prior year.
